Laser Therapy

Laser therapy emits a specific wavelength of light which interacts with cells in the body, a process called photobiomodulation. Therapeutic (so-called “cold”) laser is a safe and gentle way to promote the innate healing capacity of your pet’s body.

Laser therapy is used to treat pain, inflammation, and dysfunction by affecting blood flow, cellular metabolism, and chemical mediators in the body.

Laser therapy can be used in conjunction with or in the place of traditional acupuncture. In those patients who do not tolerate acupuncture needles, laser therapy can be a great alternative to address organ disease, pain, and musculoskeletal problems.
